This website will keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from Katnip Art, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, phone number and a password. The site uses this information to assist with processing your orders, to keep you updated on your purchases and to personalize your shopping experience. 

The website's secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology. 

To keep you informed about my latest offers and other news, I may notify you of current promotions, specials and new additions to this store. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter mailing list by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from my store.

This website uses "cookies" to keep track of your current shopping session to personalize your experience and so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at any time. 


Ordering and Payment

This store accepts PayPal and credit cards (VISA, Discover, Master Card, American Express) as a form of payment. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address (ie. the address your credit card has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. 

Payment is processed at the time of purchase and an e-mail confirmation detailing items and billing/shipping information will be sent upon completion of your order to the e-mail that was entered in at checkout.


Shipping Policy

Shipping Time -- All orders will be shipped from the United States via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Orders are processed within 1-3 days of purchase if the product is pre-made and ready to be shipped and 1-5 days for customized items. 

Due to the nature of working a full-time job alongside this website, all packages are guaranteed to be shipped on Saturdays (minus rush orders).

I cannot guarantee when an order will arrive: US orders may take up to 1 week to arrive. International orders may take up to 3-6 weeks to arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by this site or other parties only as an estimate. It's encouraged to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

If you have not received your package within the designated time and you believe it to be lost, please contact me immediately! Lost packages will be replaced provided the shipping address submitted at time of purchase was absolutely correct. I am not responsible for lost packages due to errors in shipping address provided by the customer -- if you have entered in your shipping address incorrectly during the time of your order or after, please contact me ASAP with the correct address so that I can correct it before I send your order off to shipping.


Returns & Exchanges

I will gladly accept the return of products that are defective due to defects in workmanship. Fulfillment mistakes that may be made which result in the shipment of incorrect products to you will also be accepted for return.

Unless there is substantial damage done to your order during shipping, I do not accept refunds for completed orders. If your order arrived damaged, please provide me with a photo of the damage in its untouched, unused original packaging and tags and we can discuss a possible refund or exchange! 
 
Prior to sending out orders, I do my best to ensure that they are well protected and packed securely before shipping. In the event that original artwork was purchased and they are lost in the mail or damaged after being shipped, unfortunately, I cannot send a replacement as they are one of a kind pieces of artwork that have not been copied or made into a digital print. 

However, ordered products that are not an original piece (this pertains to any non-original print merchandise) will be replaced or refunded if the product is defective or damaged (please send me pictures of any damage or defects with your request of return). Refunds will be issued after the returned products have arrived back to me. 

Return items must be in their original untouched and undamaged condition with original packaging and tags. Return items that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted.

For exchanges, return items must be in the same conditions described above and may be exchanged for other items of identical value only. No money will be added for the difference of lesser value items. Extra shipping charges apply to ship replacement items! To make a return or exchange, please contact me with your request and I will provide you with further instructions. 


Allergies 

Please be advised that I share my home with an indoor-only cat, so there's always a possibility that a stowaway hair or two might find their way into the packaging prior to shipping. I do my best to ensure that my work space is clean and clear of cat hair and cat dander and I inspect all packages before shipping, but please take that into consideration when your package arrives!
